A large international digital business transformation agency. Representative offices around the world: 51 offices in 18 countries, 6 offices in Ukraine. The number of employees in Ukraine is over 300.
The company tests the English language of all its employees 1-2 times a year. The announced number of employees is 360.
Objective
- organisation of regular assessment of employees by their level of English proficiency
- optimisation of the company’s budget for testing a large number of employees

- Implementation of an automated solution to reduce time and establish regularity of testing
Solution
– Creating a personal account for the company
Separate company accounts were created on the T2S platform with access for HR and managers. This allowed the HR department and managers to access the test results of all employees, while maintaining confidentiality for other departments – all results are on a single platform.
Employees who took the test have separate access to the results of their own test.
– Customisation of the solution
To fully cover the team’s assessment needs, we customised individual tests.
To do this, we created a focus group that took standard tests based on a standard case. Based on the test results, the following combination of tests was chosen: by the level of difficulty and importance of language competencies.
Taking into account the need to test certain groups of employees in order to optimise the budget, separate pools of tests were fixed:
- Group 1 – Placement + Writing – 325 employees
- Group 2, Group 1 + Speaking – sales managers, project managers, team leads (international remote teams) – 160 employees
- Group 3 – full test of all competences – TOP (heads of departments) 35 employees

– Testing process
Employees took the online test (Placement + Writing, full test) individually in their personal account on the T2S platform They were given one day to complete the tests at their own convenience.
On the second day, Speaking with a tutor was organised for a group of employees in Zoom. Thanks to the expanded pool of auditors and tutors, the speaking test for all employees was completed in 1 day by 195 employees.
After that, the client company received the results and recommendations for a training programme for each team member.
Voila💫 The entire team of 360 people was tested in 2 days.
The result of the project
- Winning time.. Testing in 2 days + 1 day to process the results and provide recommendations This pace of the testing process allowed us to significantly reduce the time for staff assessment and get the necessary results in a short time.
- Budget savings for testing and training – everyone received recommendations and clear KPIs for 6 months.
- Automation. The testing process is organised on an online platform, and the team is monitored and supported by a T2S support manager. This saved the HR department time and “nerves” HR.
- Implementation of a smart process. The client company has chosen the format of regular assessments using the T2S platform and plans to continue to assess English language competence, comparing the results over a long period of time.
- Accessibility, transparency and confidentiality of results. All tests are stored in the company’s account and are available to the HR department, and can be exported to the customer’s internal system upon request. Uniform assessment criteria for all employees are implemented.

Subsequent regular checks within the framework of the assessment will be carried out at the request of the customer for any number of employees.
