Implementation of an automated system for assessing language skills according to the CEFR international assessment scale for employee assessment, with recommendations for adjusting training programmes based on this data.

An international provider of business solutions in energy, mobility and value-added services.

Task from the client company 

Standardise the assessment and optimise the time spent on the annual assessment of a multinational team (Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine).

Solution

✅ A company account with different levels of access (for managers and HR) and separate accounts for each employee were created.

✅ The Placement Test Detailed was chosen to determine the level of grammar and vocabulary (General English test area).

✅ Implementation of a reporting system to further assess and track the performance of the company’s employees.

Testing process

Testing format: The Placement Test was conducted in an online format on the T2S platform.

Saving results: All test results were saved in the personal accounts of each employee.

Data accessibility: The HR team had instant access to the test results of each employee and analytical reporting.

Process management: The process and communication with respondents was managed by a T2S support manager.

👉 implemented a unified international scale for assessing the level of English proficiency for the assessment

👉 formed recommendations (based on test data) for the training system, which increased the effectiveness of the training programme by 45%

👉 issued a certificate with test results to each employee
