Client

An IT company that provides B2C, B2B and B2G cybersecurity services to clients belonging to blockchain, DeFi and NFT ecosystems from Europe, Asia and North America.

Having worked with more than 800 clients over the past four years, they have become a leader in blockchain security and established themselves as the largest cryptocurrency exchange auditor and a trusted brand in the Web3 cybersecurity space. It is one of the TOP 5 companies in its industry.

Objective

  • to test the language competence of the existing sales team 
  • identify training needs before entering the market of English-speaking countries
  • to expand the sales geography by training the team

Solution

Registration on the company’s website and its employees

We created a company account, which HR and managers were given access to. Thus, they had access to the test results of all employees.

A personal account was created for each employee to take the test. All results were stored on the T2S platform with individual access to maintain confidentiality 

Customisation of the solution

The test was based on the Comprehensive test (reading, writing, listening, speaking). To fully cover the assessment needs of the department, the writing and speaking tests were customised to cover cybersecurity. Specialised testing was created to meet the customer’s requirements with the involvement of a content specialist.

The company further uses the developed test in the recruitment process to check the level of knowledge of candidates.

Testing process

All types of Comprehensive test were conducted online on the T2S platform. Each employee had personal access to their personal account. After the first stage of testing – Placement Test, each subsequent stage was opened according to the level of this test.

The Speaking Test was conducted with each employee individually via a meeting in ZOOM. The assessment was conducted by a tutor according to a single assessment standard.

The process was managed and all communication with the respondents was carried out by a TEST2STAFF support manager. We actively advocate for saving time for the HR department 🙂.

The result of the project

  1. Comprehensive assessment of the Sales team. The assessment revealed a problem with writing and speaking skills, especially in the context of cross-cultural differences. The findings were described in detail and recommendations for improving language skills were provided.
  2. A development program for employees who communicate with the client was created. Based on the identified needs, a full-fledged program based on the Business Across Cultures program was created for the team. This approach will help to cover the need for the development of sales specialists.
  3. Budget optimisation. The selection of a specialised shortened program for the sales area allowed us to optimise training and reduce costs.  
  4. A single standardised system for the Sales team. The employee assessment allowed us to introduce not only work standards for the company’s salespeople, but also to identify the needs of new employees. That is, to implement comprehensive testing for recruitment processes. Double benefit 😉.
  5. Accessibility, transparency and confidentiality of results. All tests are stored in the company’s account and are available to the HR department, and can be exported to the customer’s internal system upon request.
